The magnitude of a child's voice range from capturing their innocent joy, "When the voices of children are heard on the green," Goodreads, to their power in shaping the future, such as John F. Kennedy's stated that "Children are the living messages we send to a time we will not see," Shutterfly, emphasizing their unique perspective, potential, and need to be heard for healthy development and stronger democracy. "Children see magic because they look for it." "The way we parent our children becomes their Voice." "Children belongs to God, they shouldn't be prevented from saying what they think." "Children are not things to be molded, but are people to be unfolded." "Children are more than we think they are; they can do more than we think they can do." "Parents can anything great things, but only children are distinguished persons who can make history.

Parents mostly leave their children outside the house while they are at work for various reasons, including a lack of childcare options, financial hardship, or a belief that it is safe or beneficial for the child to be outdoors. In some communities in Uganda, it is a common practice to let children stay outside during the time when parents are at work, The findings shows that children stay outside on the merits of neighbors protections. In the process of this act children are abused, at times no food for them and bad weather among other associated risks, These kind of children are affected by this kind of life which expose them to high risk in their life that eventully leads to school dropouts, street children, disease outbreak, sexual abuse, child labour and bad peer preasure. However, it's important to recognize that in many contexts, leaving children unsupervised outside can expose them to significant risks.

David Mukisa Was identified in a community called Lubya Zone in Rubaga Division Kmpala City located in central Uganda during the time Covid-19 Season two (2021). David's name by then was Mayor living a misery life, over working and he could stay without a meal same days. David lost his parents at the age of 3 years after which he was adopted by one of his aunt. As time kept on going, the aunt took advantage of the boy’s vulnerability to use him in both her domestic and commercial work. He could cry all the time alone and nobody could help. One day the founder of CRTLF was passing at one of the neighborhood very early in the morning where he sow a boy scrubbing a piece of an old Capet, he was motivated to greet him and the findings were too emotional. Among them, was that Capet was the one being used as his mattress, not schooling and no any idea concerning his mother and father. What he only knew is his aunt who far along confirmed that. The founder was interested to get more details staring with only one name "mayor and never attended any school". As they kept on talking, boldly the boy expressed the interest of going to school. This morning was one of amazing moment to intentionally follow up this boy. The said Aunt full of stress among other challenges, narrated that she is a single mother who just work for a daily meal and the said Uncle who would have taken carely of the boy was imprisoned. The boy’s father died of accident in lake Victoria and his mother used to stay around the showers of the lake of which also said to be died. The imprisoned uncle was able to rescue the boy from there and david’s sister remained with the mother. After two days through the work of the holy Mr. and Mrs. Masede request to adopt the boy at the age of 7 years who instantly give him the name of “David Mukisa” and through Mrs. He was taken to school and he wants to become a doctor to resue lives. Today he is an amazing boy and you are requested support materially and financially in response to reach out to these children He loves God and we know through your support, we can do more than this.

In Uganda lives of children below 5 years experience high mortality rates due continuous uncoordinated or no Antenatal Care Services. This has also been ignited by poor roads, long distances, lack of Ambulance Services and Corrupted Communities who impose high bills to mothers struggling. it's common for them to exhibit changes in behavior and require a period of adjustment. These changes can include increased clinginess which rarely happens due emotional pressure, sleep disturbances, and a need for more attention for comforting the mother and the child. Returning to familiar routines, providing comfort and support, and potentially seeking professional or experienced help can aid in a smoother transition back home and the reverse is true. Community Right To Life Foundation is seeking both material and financial SUPPORT to Aid the reaching out of the Mothers with Supportive Information in response to mitigating the situation at hand.

Uganda is widely recognized as a developing Country across the world. While it's making progressive steps in various areas, it still faces challenges. It is noted that the nation have not achieved a significant degree of industrialization relative to its populations, and have, in most cases, a medium to low standard of living, poor infrastructure, and a less-developed industrial base compared to more developed nations, as well as challenges like poverty, high child mortality, reliance on agriculture, and a lack of skilled labor. Children in developing countries often face significant challenges as a result of poverty indifferences, child neglect and abuse, malnutrition, poor health, and lack of access to education and resources. These factors can negatively impact their cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development, potentially primarily continuing poverty cycles in Uganda tregaling gender violence practices where the child faced with the end consequences. Climate and environmental crises also pose risks, affecting their health and well-being. Every child has the inborn right to life, and service providers with governments support must work in partnership to ensure the survival and development of children to the best of their ability. This includes providing access to health food, clean water, clothes, healthcare and a safe environment. The right to life is also linked to the right to survival, which means reducing infant mortality and ensuring adequate nutrition. I plead with you that through partnering with you, we can bring a difference Website: crtlf.eu
Detecting Abuses Among Children
Key Things One Can Do To Prevent Child Abuse
Posted by:

On:
2025-03-21T12:25:51.301601+00:00
1. INVEST IN KIDS: Encourage parents, child workers and leaders in the community to be supportive of children and families. Ask employers to provide family-friendly work environments. Ask your local and national lawmakers to support legislation to better protect our children and to improve their lives. 2. CRTLF VOLUNTEER ITS TIME. Get involved with stakeholders, parents in different community across Uganda. The main purpose here it to help vulnerable children and their families in response to addressing the psychosocial problems through board games, entrepreneurship, creative dance, counseling and sharing successful stories. 3. THE THEORY OF DISCIPLINING A CHILD: Never discipline a child when you are upset. CRTLF agree that basing on different cultures, every “parent” has a duty to help a child grow upright. The approach here is that “parents” need time to calm down before punishing a child, the best way is to use other logical ways to disciplining children so long as they are not exploitive. Use privileges to encourage good behavior and time-outs to help your child regain control. 4. YOURSELF AND OTHERS: Simple support for children and parents can be the best way to prevent child abuse. After-school activities, parent education classes, mentoring programs, and respite care are some of the many ways to keep children safe from harm. As parents and care takers of children be a voice in support of these efforts in your community. 5. SUPPORT PREVENTION PROGRAMS: Too often, intervention occurs only after abuse is reported. CRTLF is appealing all children and workers join hands and change the principle has we invest in programs that have been proven to stop the abuse before it occurs - such as supportive budget facilitation and joining the act of family sensitization and counseling, home visits by social workers and nurses who provide assistance for newborns and their parents. 6. KNOW WHAT CHILD ABUSE IS: Physical and sexual abuse clearly constitute maltreatment, but so does neglect, or the failure of parents or other caregivers to provide a child with needed Food, Clothing, Medication and Education among other Care Services. Children can also be emotionally abused when they are rejected, berated, or continuously isolated. 7. TEACH CHILDREN THEIR RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: When children are taught, they are empowered and become aware of understanding what to do in case exposure at risk of abuse or danger. The beauty of child protection begins in the awareness you create in them. Community Right to Life Foundation has designed this special program and have right to life and safety, they are less likely to think abuse is their fault, and to be more active in report all sorts of abuses to the right concerned people and offices. With time we believe that offenders will be reduced in our communities thus having responsible community. 8. Abuse is not just physical. Both words and actions can inflict deep, lasting wounds. Be a nurturing parent. Use your actions to show children and other adults that conflicts can be settled without beating or yelling. 9. KNOW THE SIGNS: Unexplained injuries aren't the only signs of abuse. Depression, fear of a certain adult, difficulty trusting others or making friends, sudden changes in eating or sleeping patterns, inappropriate sexual behavior, poor hygiene, secrecy, and hostility are often signs of family problems and may indicate a child is being neglected or physically, sexually, or emotionally abused. 10. REPORT ABUSE: If you witness a child being harmed or see evidence of abuse, make a report to your state's child protective services department or local police. When talking to a child about abuse, listen carefully, assure the child that he or she did the right thing by telling or sharing with you that information and affirm that he or she is not responsible for what happened. Refer the issue to a counselor or reach us on WhatsApp +256 701 289 422 or our website portal www.crtlf.eu

Poverty affects every aspect of a child’s life. The effects of poverty on children also build over time, worsening the damage done as a child grows. To understand the deep impact of poverty, Right To Life Foundation state key effects of poverty on children as follows: - Poverty hinders healthy physical growth and development. - Poverty hurts social and emotional development. - It Shortens life expectancy. - Also Poverty increases infant and child Mortality rates. - It Introduces hunger, neglect, insecurity and instability into children’s lives. - Poverty increases the likelihood a child will have a chronic health condition. - It makes children sick with preventable diseases. - Poverty increases parental stress and impairs safe parenting practices. - Poverty increases the likelihood of violence children may experience and witness. - Poverty prevents children from getting an education, keeping them from reaching their full potential. These impacts of poverty make children feel valueless and hopeless. They keep children from seeing a brighter future beyond poverty. Without CRTLF Prevention Initiatives, the cycle of poverty continues throughout each generation.

Less-privileged children in Uganda growing up in remote villages or urban centre slams with limited access to education, their desires shows passion for learning. Despite the gender complex together with poverty, children abuse is on climax. The only thing is that CRTLF findings shows that at least every child in Africa face a certain challenge but for some cases some faces most of them as indicated below: 1. Failure to get food 2. Education 3. Medicine 4. Shelter 5. and Clothes. The range of NGO activities in Uganda has, however, greatly expanded in recent years to include work in the areas of Children policy advice; advocacy on a wide range of issues including human and civic rights, integrity and accountability in public office; child protection and support; lobbying and research. Why do we need volunteers? Unpaid volunteers are often the glue that holds a community together. Volunteering allows you to connect to your community and make it a better place. Even helping out with the smallest tasks can make a real difference to the lives of young people, teenage mothers, and families in need.

A Child can smile at you and yet has not taken any water or food all day. A Child can play with others and when night comes, he/she doesn’t know where to sleep resulting to tears and sadness appear on their faces, which is the reality. Through CRTLF psychosocial care and support, leading to associating and drawing them closer thus understand their profound mystery. There is lots of demand for someone interested to celebrate this black masterpiece; imagine playing under the rain and smiling under the sun, rejoicing in the most obscured situation and circumstances life throws at them. They rejoice even when the sky is falling. Nobody in Africa, particularly in Uganda, cares about children, yet they appear like the most responsible mothers and fathers. If you go to the urban areas, you will find street children. If you visit a home a very old woman, you will find there a child who is not in school, If you observe them, you learn a great lesson: most of them do not have basic necessities like clothes passing half way dressed, no shoes, like those living in rural areas go barefooted. But even without clothes and proper shelter, they survive the craziest weather conditions, the power of the living God. CRTLF is kindly calling upon you in partnership in response to bring about a better life of a Ugandan Child.

Underprivileged children is more than what just come from a low-income background. Underprivileged children also often don’t have access to quality education, shelter, healthy food, and medical care. This makes them vulnerable to malnutrition, diseases, and exploitation. Most underprivileged children result from single-parent families. These parents also didn’t have proper or no education which leads to limited employment opportunities. They also tend to be more prone to domestic violence from their partners. This, in turn, result into a huge trauma to their children. And thus, the cycle never ends. Community Right To Life Foundation calling upon some Help, Help, Please Help the Children…. Together we can.

Community Right to Life Foundation in Partnership with Child Affiliated Organizations that addresses Child Social changes Development in Uganda and Africa as well. Three complementary lines of Psychosocial Care and Support have sought to generate knowledge about child development in Africa. specifically rooted in Saving Lives through securing Food for Children, Shelter, Clothes, Education and Treatment. Most Children have lost Lives due to the above Factors and making the situation worse, it has resulted too a generational way living which has left Uganda below poverty line. African ways of knowing: analysis of traditional proverbs, theory-building, and documentation of parental ethno-theories. The first approach has examined the indigenous formulations of child development and socialisation values embedded in African languages and oral traditions. Several collections of proverbs have been published in different Communities in African and many people have believed them thus bringing more problems more especially those in places authority who have ended misusing their offices by corruption, channelling resources for their individual merit which has become the main root cause of poverty in Africa. It is time for us to join efforts through rallying one another in advocating for Right Life Foundation.

Hello everyone, this is our first blog post on the webpage. If you are reading this, congratulations! You've reached the beginning of our journey. Now is a significant moment in the foundation's history as we officially launch our webpage. Akabu, the leader of the foundation, along with his wife and friends, are working hard to support children in need in Uganda. Currently, Akabu is providing care for 55 children, with 26 of them living under his roof! It's truly remarkable; some find it challenging to care for a single child, and here he is, taking care of so many. There's still much work to be done. First and foremost, we need to ensure that they have access to basic life resources such as food, water, and the funds to cover rent. But we are not giving up. We are committed to fighting for a better future, striving to provide them with a proper education, access to the latest technology, opportunities to grow, and more. I am the author of this page and a friend of Akabu's, but I prefer to keep my identity private for now. If you also believe in the power of helping others, please feel free to donate or email us with any suggestions. In the future, we will make every effort to regularly update our activities and share information related to the foundation. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and may God bless you!
